About Us

We Chef Eurel and Mommy Su catering services , are committed to designing and executing flawless, memorable events by combining exquisite food with the highest level of customer service.

We  Cater (Wedding, Debuts, Birthdays, Kiddie Parties, Anniversaries, Cocktail Bar, School Activities, Seminars, Corporate Function, Packed Meals, other occasions & more). We are also distributing   balloons, tables & chairs, clowns, light & sounds,  face painting, tent,  chocolate fountain and other more party needs

Chef Eurel and Mommy Su catering service believes in “Excellence through Service”. Chef Eurel

I have been brought up in a family with two different ethnic backgrounds. My mom, a local of Bicol province and my father is a Manilleño from the City. I can say I have been exposed with two different culture thus started my interest in food. My mom is my greatest influence. My mother is more into baking pastries and makes the most incredible baked products I can think of. In fact, bakeshop is our family's business.

Looking back, I am typical boy whose interest has nothing to do with Japanese cooking or cooking per se. It all started in college when it is about time to decide what major will I study. Which made me think what my interest really is. I reflected and thought where am I good at. It was my mom who suggested I take up Hotel and Management for she feels it suits me. Without thinking, I enrolled myself not knowing where am I heading.

Since the resources are available at home it was no difficulty for me to practice what I study but still It was as if I feel not serious about the course I am taking. My turning point was when I decided to work abroad. My enthusiasm to see the world became my motive. I am personally fascinated with Japanese food for its style and simplicity. I started out as a kitchen steward to gain experience in the kitchen and after some time when a position was opened i applied for a sushi chef  in Phil. Village Hotel to practice my craft and eventually I become more interested in Teppanyaki so I registered myself in trainings for Japanese cooking and begun to watched cooking shows a lot and dine to different restaurants.

When the time I felt I am ready I begun my journey and with my family's support I made it to Cyprus. It was in 1999. Luckily, there was with a grand Filipino community in Cyprus where the senior chefs helped me a lot to enhanced my skills and embrace my craft. They thought me how to love my work and to put my best in every meal I prepare. It was also the time I fell in love with cooking.A t an early age and with a lot of hard work I gained the respect and I became the head chef of Tokio Teppanyaki restaurant in two years time.

I owe it all to my seniors as they have put up with me and taught me everything that needs to be learned from experience. Back in 2004, I decided to move to Russia to showcase my skill. It was indeed a pleasant working time for me. after a year i decided to move to Greece which really gives me a great challenge where i opened a new restaurant in the center of Athens, after a year i was invited  to Maldives island, i  enjoy the island  so i decided to stay for a new adventure  

Presently, i am working as a chef consultant , here at Almaty Kazahsktan, i am enjoying the place because it giving me a lot of challenges , my desire to learn and Thirst for new food discovery never ends...So ... Family , friends and everyone  Chef eurel & mommy Su catering services  will be operating soon ......
